Every year AV Max hosts the AV Max Awards for excellence in electronic products. I was associated with it for the year 2005 for which I created this invite which is basically a real record with this invite pasted over it. It was very well received with a great turnout.

Client: Intel for The Economic Times

Job type: Audio Visual

The Economic Times conducts corporate events regularly as a part of their Knowledge Forum initiative. One of these event saw Intel championing the cause of rural India. I created this backdrop to suggest that rural India is like a horse with wings, ready to take off with some push in terms of computers which Intel wished to provide.

Client: Pinakin

Pinakin is the producer of highend furniture in India. This very simple and clean looking website had some really interesting aspects to it. For example the windows that were generated for every product category arranged themselves based on the number of products the selected category had. The arrangement formed ranged from basic circles to a pair of concentric circles. I had also created a custom Content Management System which enabled the client to manage all the products on the site. The site also had  a unique feature called the scrapbook which allowed a user to add items of interest to the scrapbook and then download a pdf of the selected items or mail it to anyone right from the site.

Client: Jitish Kallat

This was the longest project that I ever worked on while I was working for Grandmother India as a senior programmer. I had also created a custom Content Management System for this site that allowed for adding more shows or editing the existing ones. Every time the site loads, one of 7 maps of Mumbai is generated from Jitish’s paintings. The content management system had an interesting algorithm to it that enabled one picture to be uploaded and be setup for all of the 7 maps so that no matter how many new shows Jitish added, the title painting of the show would always show up in any of the randomly loaded maps.

Musikreed is a company that is responsible for bringing down the rarest of the music acts of the world to Indian clubs and live music venues. I was responsible for creating 2 fast paced audio visuals to showcase this company’s work .

Client: Aeromar Logistics

Job type: Advertisements

Aeromar Logistics is one of my long standing clients. I create advertisements for Aeromar Logistics that announce the various countries that Aeromar ships your cargo to and from. This advertisement was an announcement of the completion of one year of Aeromar Logistics in the industry. The visual shows a cargo laden ship finishing a circle around the sun depicting the completion of one year.

Client: Spoken World | Language Island

Job type: 100% Flash Game based web application

Spoken World LLC, Los Angeles is the last job that I ever did. It was the most rewarding (in most ways) of my life. I met some seriously nice people, great programmers and artists from whom I learnt more than from all the other places I worked. I was employed as a Senior Programmer and I was part of a very talented team who created a unique web application that taught children different languages. The basis of learning was obviously games and we used Citrus Engine, Smartfox Server, Gaia Framework, MySQL and CakePHP all mashed together to create a unique online learning experience.
